PURE 29er Black Wheel Set, Formula MTB 6-Bolt Disc QR Hubs 8,9,10,11 spd

Bicycle Wheel Warehouse is offering this NEW set of PURE 29er Black MTB Disc wheel set laced with Formula MTB 6-Bolt Disc QR hubs. The PURE 28 hole rim (schrader valve) has a pinned joint with a 25mm outer and 20mm inner width designed for cross country (XC) or trail riding.  These rims are very durable, and the wheels will feel and perform excellent over time. The Formula MTB 6-Bolt Disc hubs are Quick Release, front = 9mm x 100mm, rear = 10mm x 135mm, and feature loose ball bearing, cup + cones.  Like Shimano, they offer a solid design with strong internals meant to hold up. These hubs are not thru-axle compatible. The rear hub will work with Shimano MTB series 8, 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes. Shimano road 11 speed cassettes are not compatible. They are built up with Black spokes brass Nipples. This auction is for the above listed wheel set and includes rim tape (installed) and Quick Release levers.

Wheel set weight  is approximately 2277g for the pair. (1035g Front / 1242g Rear)

We do little things that make a lasting difference, like seating spoke heads against the hub flanges with our own proprietary tools, so that spoke tension doesn’t dramatically change as soon as you put weight on your new wheels the first time you try them out. We stress relieve the spokes multiple times, to help the spokes seat properly against one another and the hub flanges.  The use of high quality lubricants on spoke threads and on nipples helps our wheels last longer, and makes them more serviceable.  We have professional grade equipment in which to check tension and wheel trueness, far more precise than what is available to the regular bike shop.
